     We expect that when parents are separated or divorced that they will provide us with a copy of the custodial agreement, to which we will strictly adhere.  We expect that parents will put the needs of their children above any animosity they may have for their former spouse, and that we will not be expected to play favorites or take sides.  Our firm and consistent policy is that, in the absence of a custodial agreement, we will release a child only to the enrolling parent or their designated representative.  If any questions arise, we will strictly adhere to the requirements of the appropriate laws and legal findings.  Although we don't always lock the front door, please be rest assured that we know every person who walks into the building, and we will ask for identification from anyone we don't know before we will release a child to them.  When having someone new pick up your child(ren), please be sure to call and let us know, and tell them to expect to show identification the first couple of times they come.
