Nursery/Preschool
Our Nursery/Preschool department are introduced to the ABEKA curriculum and will explore their world with beginning Phonics. Understanding that giving a child the ability to decode a word that they have never seen before opens doors for future learning. We strive to provide the best in a loving, nurturing, safe environment where kids can be kids and we have tons of fun while we are learning our basics. We strive to provide the best in preparation for the upcoming school years.
Phonics, numbers, developing of fine motor skills, cutting skills, arts -n- crafts and lots of outside time will be a part of your child's day. We encourage questions such as "why" and love to see the excitement of learning a new concept.
Strong friendships begin in early childhood and we encourage our children to include others while we have fun in group activities.
Calendars are sent home as well as our daily "Today at school" We encourage our parents to get involved... ask your child how their day was... We love your input as well.
Some of the things that we may consider when deciding on moving your toddler to the next level will be:
