Late Fees

Pick-up and Drop-off of Children

1. We have reserved the six closest parking spots for your convenience in dropping off and picking up your child(ren). In the morning, please do not stop your car in front of the building, since the large van may hide it from the view of cars entering the parking lot. In the past, several cars have been hit from behind, causing injury and damage. It's also important to bring your children directly into their classroom(s). We can not find children wandering through the building when they've been dropped off without being escorted into their room.
2. If your child(ren) will not be in attendance on a particular day, please call us or let the classroom teacher know so they'll be aware of it. This is particularly important in the case of school-age children who normally would be with us in the afternoon. The van schedules from school to school are very tight and can be thrown off by the driver having to double-check with the school office if a child does not appear on time in the proper pickup spot.
3. In the afternoon, if someone other than the enrolling parent will be picking up your child(ren), it is important that you call to let us know of the arrangements. we will ask to see identification from anyone with whom we are not familiar, and we will not allow anyone to take your child(ren) if they do not have the proper identification.
4. If there are custody issues involved, it is important that we receive a copy of the court order, and we will strictly follow its requirements. In the absence of a custodial agreement, we will only release a child to the enrolling parent, or their designated representative, or a court-designated person.

Late Pick-up

1. It is expected that parents will pick up their child(ren) at the appropriate time stated on the fee agreement.
2. Please do not drop your child(ren) off earlier than 6:30 AM. The teachers do not start until then.
3. Please be sure that you pick up your child(ren) before the scheduled hour of closing (6:00 PM). If you are going to be late, call the school.  To be "on time" means that you are ready to exit the building at 6:00 PM.

   Late fee is $1.00 per child for every minute past 6:00 p.m.

   Please be considerate of staff members who are waiting for you to pick up your child(ren). These staff members have a schedule to meet at home and need to leave work promptly at closing time to meet their committments. In some cases, with prior arrangements, some of the teachers have been willing to babysit for children whose parents must work late occasionally. This should be arranged with the individual teacher in advance (this applies for the mornings, too). The late charges will be added to your next weekly bill.
