Bright Futures Child Care

Tuition & Financial Policies

Tuition is charged on a weekly basis.  Choose the time category which best meets your needs when registering your child.  Part-time spots (under 25 hours) are generally not available in the Infant Room.  Some of the other rooms may have part-time spots available.

  • All tuition is due in advance.  Parents may pay weekly, biweekly, or monthly. When registering your child, please inform the office how you wish to pay.

  • Payments are due on the "Friday before or the Monday of" the week of care.  You may drop your payment off at the office for your convenience. We prefer checks, however if you make a cash payment, please ask for a receipt so that we can properly credit your account; we would appreciate exact change, since we seldom have much change on hand.

  • We do not send bills each week unless your account is in arrears.  We do expect that each parent will pay their bill promptly each week.

  • All CCIS and TITLE XX co-pays must be sent in weekly and kept up to date.  We are obligated to contact the agency of any accounts that fall behind on co-pays.  This could cause you to lose your subsidy so please be sure to take care of these co-pays.

  • If a parent is a week late in paying tuition, they will be notified.  If you are two weeks late, you will receive a week's notice of termination and your child will not be able to attend until suitable payment arrangements have been made to catch up your bill.

  • Tuition is due each week whether your child is here or not.  If your child is sick or out for any reason, the tuition is still due.

  • Vacation - Each account is granted a 2 week vacation allowance.  If your child will be absent for an entire week (Must be Monday - Friday), you may use this.  You must put in writing the week your child will be on vacation and it must be submitted prior to the vacation.  Once you have done both of these things, you will not be billed for this week.

  • FULL TUITION DUE FOR THE WEEKS CONTAINING HOLIDAYS.

  • We understand that there are times when some families experience financial difficulties temporarily.  If this is the case, please contact the office and we will do our best to work with you to come up with a realistic payment schedule on a temporary basis.  It's much better to make arrangements in advance, rather than to find yourself in a difficult situation later on.

TITLE XX ~ There is financial assistance available to help with payment of Tuition through the Title XX program.  We are contracted with: Community Services for children (610-437-6000), and also with Child Care Information Services (610-419-4500).  These agencies dispense funds to parents within certain income guidelines to help them pay the weekly tuition.

Waiting Period of Title XX ~  Since enrolling in Title XX sometimes will require you to be on a waiting period, we would like to assist you until your funding comes in.  Please contact the office to discuss what arrangements can be made upon verifying your waiting list status.

TWO WEEK ADVANCE DEPOSIT

  • Upon enrollment, a two week advance deposit is required.  This advance deposit is used the last two weeks of attendance when proper written notice is given (see section on disenrollment)

  • Pre-paid Two Week Advance:  Should you pay the two-week advance to hold a place for your child for a future enrollment date, your advance will be 100% refunded if written notice of non-enrollment is received four (4) weeks before the scheduled date of enrollment.  Should written notice not be given the two-week advance will be forfeited and placement would no longer be reserved.  A phone call is not acceptable.

  • Disenrollment:  A two-week advance WRITTEN notice to the Center is required when the child is to be disenrolled.  This note must be received two (2) full weeks before the last two weeks of attendance.  When the written notice is received as mentioned, the advance deposit, made at registration, will then pay for the final two (2) weeks the child attends the Center.

  • If there is an increase in the weekly tuition amount, the advance deposit will be increased accordingly to match the new weekly tuition amount.  This will become due prior to or, on the day of the increase.
