For those children needing more than 50 hours of weekly care, or needing individualized services, there is a surcharge depending on your specific situation.

We provide care in group situations and our services really are not designed for individual care. Full time tuition includes breakfast, a hot lunch, and two snacks. We will supply income tax information at the end of the year. Full time students will receive 10 non-pay credit days per year after three consecutive months, on a pro-rata basis. Parents must supply diapers for infants and toddlers.  Infant parents must also supply formula.

We occasionally will have some part-time spots available, but generally not in the Infant or Toddler rooms. Part-time Pre-School costs $93.00 and  Part-time Younger Toddlers are $107.00 and Part-time Older Toddlers are $105.00 up to a maximum of 25 hours weekly, if available.

Although we do not have "drop-in" care, we will occasionally make provisions for a DAILY RATE of $37.00 for Pre-School and $40.00 for Toddlers, if available.

There is a LATE PICKUP charge of $1.00 per child, per minute late after 6:00 PM.

There is a LATE TUITION CHARGE of $5.00 per week if Tuition has not been paid by Wednesday.

SCHOOL-AGE CARE provides care for your child with transportation to and from school, during all school closings, early dismissals, and late starts. There is no extra charge for these occurrences, as they are included in the basic tuition charge. In the event of a teachers' strike, the full-time rate applies. You can count on us to be open when the elementary schools are closed due to inclement weather.

REGISTRATION FEE

First Child $25.00 Multiple Children $45.00

PAYMENT POLICIES

  • Tuition is charged on a weekly basis. Choose the time category which best meets your needs when registering your child. Part-time spots (under 25 hours) are generally not available in the Infant and Toddler rooms. Some of the other rooms may have part-time spots available occasionally.
  • All tuition is due in advance. Parents may pay weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. When you register your child, please inform the office how you wish to pay.
  • Payments are due on the "Friday before or the Monday of" the week of care. There is a mailbox by the office door for your convenience in dropping off your tuition payment. We would prefer checks, however if you make a cash payment, please ask for a receipt so that we can properly credit your account.
  • We do not send bills each week unless your account is in arrears. We do expect that each parent pay their bill promptly each week.
  • Tuition fees not paid by the Wednesday of the week due are subject to a late charge of $5.00.
  • Parents whose tuition checks are returned by the bank for NSF (non-sufficient funds) will be charged a re-deposit fee, which is based on the bank charge to us, currently $25.00.
  • If a parent is a week late in paying tuition, they will be notified by mail. If you are two weeks late, you will receive a week's notice of termination and your child will not be able to attend until suitable arrangements have been made to catch up on the bill.
  • TUITION IS DUE EACH WEEK WHETHER YOUR CHILD IS HERE OR NOT. If your child is sick or out for any reason, the tuition is still due except that if they have been enrolled for a period of three months or longer, they may be eligible for credit days.
  • FULL TUITION IS DUE FOR THE WEEKS CONTAINING HOLIDAYS, unless you wish to take a credit day during that week.
  • We understand that there are times when some families experience temporary financial difficulties. If this is the case, please let us know and we will do our best to work with you to come up with a realistic payment schedule on a temporary basis. It is much better to make arrangements in advance, rather than to find yourself in a difficult situation later on.
  • TITLE XX - There is financial assistance available to help for payment of Tuition through the Title 20 Program. We are contracted with Community Services for Children (phone: 610-437-6000) and also with Child Care Information Services. These agencies dispense funds to parents within certain income guidelines to help them pay the weekly tuition.

     Credit Days

  1. After three months of continuous care, the children who are enrolled full-time receive five non-pay credit days, and then five more in each six- month period. These credit days are earned on an "accrual" basis - even though you hvae five days available after three months, only 2 ½ days have actually been earned at that time. This allows you the maximum flexibility to use these days as you find necessary. After six months of full-time enrollment, you will have "earned" five credit days, and after nine months, you will have "earned" 7 ½ credit days. Upon withdrawal of your child, if you have used more credit days than you have earned, you will be expected to pay for any unearned credit days that have been used. We expect that you will use all ten of your credit days allowed before the anniversary date arrives. Credit days for the next year will then begin to accrue.

FOR EXAMPLE: 9-16-06 first week of tuition and enrollment
      12-16-06 5credit days available
6-16-07 5 new credit days begin
9-16-07 5 new credit days begin

  2. Credit days are to be used when a child is not in attendance. Please do not bring your child in to school on the days on which you take credit days.
  3. Credit days may be used to reduce one's overdue balance only to the extent of days actually "earned".
  4. Only five credit days may be used in any given month.
  5. Credit Days may be used for holidays, if you so desire.
  6. Part-time children do not receive any credit days.
  7. Credit days cannot be carried over to the following year unless special circumstances dictate and prior arrangements have been made with the office.
  8. In order to receive credit for your Credit Days, please drop a note along with your prior or subsequent tuition payment so that we know you are taking your days. When you take individual days, please pro-rate the weekly fee to a daily basis. If you have a question as to how many credit days you have left, please ask us.
